Stone House - Constructed of native cut stone in 1849 by Gerard Crane who made his fortune as nearly menagerie owner. This imposing house, two stories high with a raised basement, has changed little from its construction date. Entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 for both its architecture and its connection with the American circus.
